Cumbria Mini Cruisers originated from a group of Mini enthusiasts, who started out as strangers but became friends. After numerous hours, days and weekd scouring of the internet there was no sign of any recognised mini clubs that were still relatively active, apart from Border City Mini Club, now Cumbria Classic Mini's. It was then that two of the friends decided to take on the responsibility off setting up a club to combat the lack off things to do with Mini in Cumbria.

Since 2005 we have gone from strength to strength with a relatively solid member base which seems to be growing. Now with more and more members appearing on the roads with a beloved Mini, wether it be a Classic or New BMW and more importantly appearing at meets, events and shows both National and Local.

Over the years there has been the up's, and the down's anything from small arguments to major dissagrement and even to crashes, none the less everything was worked out or worked on in the end.

Mini's are our passion as we guess they are yours too, but nobody knows everything, that was what sparked a forum addition to the website, allowing people from all over the country to register, log on and chat away. Since 2005 the forum has been changed, choped, altered, restarted and re-coloured to now a good place, with regular posting by our 100+ members.

Due to the relative success of Cumbria Mini Cruisers at home and away, we are now registered charity fundraisers for Christies Charity (1049751) and over the next year will be raising money for Christies.

Next on the success list after a great start to our Splash Dash event in 2008 we have decided to carry it on each year in a different area of the UK so look out on the events pages and on the main homepage for further information on the next Splash Dash event. Our advertising team will be out in force over the show season letting you know whats happening maybe even in your area.

Continuous expansion over the last 4 years has meant out website and our profile has got bigger and bigger, attending many of the British Mini Club events, including Mini Fair (Bingley Hall) just to name one of course as there are so many, Cumbria Mini Cruisers will also be attending many off the runs London to Brighton, Riviera Run and even the International Mini Meet. To aid the expansion we are now proudly sponsored by Optimise Automotive and Total Signs as well as offering discounts with companies such as DSN Classics, Mini Arts, Minimaster and MiniDoor.co.uk.
